It's baaacckk.. our favourite time of the year, a weekend of FREE live theatre is back on the 17th and 18th of June 2023.
West End Live heads to Trafalgar Square every year (minus covid times) and you can catch performances from pretty much all of the shows from the West End and more. There will be celebrity hosts, merchandise to buy, tickets on sale for the shows appearing and maybe a sneaky Pimm’s truck.
You don’t need to buy a ticket, turn up and wait to get in, one thing to be mindful of is the queues are massive, so get there early if you don’t want to miss any, of course, you can turn up at any time and queue to get in if you don’t want to catch the whole show.
Aside from West End shows, in the past there have been performances from immersive experiences such as The Great Gatsby and Mamma Mia The Party, touring shows and surprise special guests.
The line-up for West End Live 2023 hasn’t been announced yet but 2022’s West End Live has seen performances from Wicked, Back to the Future The Musical, Six, Come from Away, Hamilton, Choir of Man, &Juliet, We Will Rock You, Only Fools and Horses, Magic Mike Live, Tina - The Tina Turner musical and in past West End Lives you would have seen Thriller Live, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, 9 to 5, School of Rock and a whole lot more.
