😍'First Dates' restaurant with view of St Paul's

You might recognise this cute restaurant even if you haven’t been before. If you are a fan of the TV show ‘First Dates', Paternoster Chop House is where the show is filmed, although you won’t find Fred, Merlin or the gang behind the bar.

The menu offers starters, main meals including fish, meat, vegan and vegetarian and a range of steaks or if you just want a light bite there are a choice of salads and snacks too. For the month of September, they are offering a ‘back to work’ set menu deal.

Even with this awesome location, next to St Paul's Cathedral, the prices are pretty reasonable. We even had Christmas dinner here last year for under £70 per person for a 3-course meal (everywhere else we checked in the area was well over £100 each so this was a great find). If you don’t fancy stopping for a full meal, you can visit Paternoster Chop House for drinks at the bar. Pick from a choice of wines, gins, beers and ciders and cocktails including ‘watermelon martini’ and ‘modern bakewell’. We would recommend ‘pretty in pink’ which is made from crème liqueur, lychee, cranberry and lemon – delicious. You can also ask for your favourite cocktail if it isn’t on the reduced menu.

The outside seating area is a suntrap in the summer so it’s a lush place to chill out in the sun with views of St Paul’s Cathedral – it is also a great spot to do some people-watching. Check out the menu or book Paternoster Chop House online here!
