Our pick of the best game bars in London🎯

Updated: Apr 19, 2023

Who wants to go to a normal bar when you can go to one and play some serious games?

We have put together a list of fab bars where you can have some real fun, playing games such as crazy golf, beer pong and even ice skating!

Group of men about to take a shot in a bar

Fair Game

The new kid on the block and recently opened in Canary Wharf, Fair Game is already one of our favourites. A digital fairground like you have never seen, you pay a one-off fee of ÂŁ15 each and get to play all the games twice, using your wristband to log your games and scores. As well as games you will find delicious food such as pizzas and burgers and a full bar serving drinks including lush cocktails. Make sure you book in advance as it can be booked up pretty fast.

The Glitch Bar

The Glitch Club is in Shoreditch and offers arcade games such as air hockey, table tennis, bubble ice hockey and a dance stage but the main attraction is the Glitch raceway. The 10-driver motor racing experience sees you get behind the wheel and race your little car around the track to live commentary while attempting to beat your friends.

Junkyard Golf

Think crazy golf with flashing and UV lights and loud music and you have Junkyard Golf. You can pick between four 9-hole golf courses called Bozo, Pablo, Dirk and Gary – we kid you not.

You can buy all the usual suspects from the bar as well as a range of cool cocktails that will not look out of place on Instagram. Choose between Ribena Turner, Hotline Ting, Porn in the U.S.A, Drank U, Next and Fairway to Heaven.

This super fun bar is in Hackney and is open every day, but opening times vary.

Flight Club

This cool darts bar has 4 locations in London: Bloomsbury, Islington, Victoria and Shoreditch. Make your booking at Flight Club and you will receive your own darts area on your arrival, enter all your details on the screen and you can then start playing. The alcohol may make you better or worse at the game but that is half the fun! The bar offers a cocktail of the month as well as offers on fizz. You can also enjoy pizzas and fries while you play.

Electric Shuffle

This great bar is like Flight Club but with shuffleboard instead of darts. Your semi-private space makes social distancing super easy, leaving you with nothing to worry about apart from being top of the leader board. You can pre-order drinks, so they are waiting for you when you arrive and top up more as you play, as well as add food if you wish. Don’t fancy shuffleboard? No problem you can book in for drinks only.

Electric Shuffle is in Canary Wharf and London Bridge and is open daily from 11:30 am.

Foosball Club

We first knew foosball was a big deal while watching the sitcom Friends and now there is a whole bar dedicated to it. Team playing table football with drinks and pizzas and you have yourself one fun evening. There are even official Foosball rules which you can find on their website, make sure you're equipped with all the knowledge you need. You order your food and drinks from an app and the Foosball Club staff will bring your order to you.

Queens Skate Dine Bowl

Queens has everything going for it, there is bowling, curling, arcade games, karaoke, food and drinks from MEATliquor and the main man – an ice-skating rink with the UK’s first rink-side skate-up bar.

Queens is located right by Queensway tube, there are offers on Mondays and certain times on alternative days, check the website for the latest and to book.

Skylight

If you want a bar that is bright, fun and with stunning views then Skylight is the one. Located in Wapping, on a rooftop, Skylight offers an ice rink along with heated igloos with cosy blankets and table service with some bookings including free drinks.

There are loads going on here such as bottomless brunch, live music and cocktail masterclasses. You can also find another Skylight bar in Peckham.

Bounce

Bounce is all about ping pong, with 2 bars in London: Old Street and Farringdon. Prices are mad cheap and you can even play on an interactive table. Drinks on offer here include craft and drafts beers, wines, spirits, cocktails and mocktails and hard seltzers. If you fancy a bite to eat you can do that too.

The Four Thieves

This bar offers something we don’t see too often: the UK's first in-pub Virtual Reality station- wow! As well as VR they offer Moonshine Raceway, a remote-controlled car track where you sit in the driving seat and race your car against the other people in your group.

The Four Thieves also has loads of retro arcade games, food and drinks, and a craft beer taproom where you can sit in or take away with an offer of 6 beers such as Word Lager, Ripper IPA, Source Pale or Mangolicious Fruit Pale for only ÂŁ12, you can also do click and collect.

The Four Quarters

You will find The Four Quarters bar in Peckham, offering food such as hot dogs and a grilled cheese topped chips, all the drinks you can think of, more than 15 original arcade cabs from the early 80’s up to the 2000s, 10 retro consoles, pinball machines, live music, DJ sets AND a hidden cocktail bar in the basement – what’s not to like.

Arcade games you can play include Asteroids, Neo Geo MVS - 6 Slot, Time Crisis 2, Total Carnage, NBA Jam, After Burner, House Of The Dead 2, Point Blank 1, Sega Rally, Daytona, Rampage, WWF Royal Rumble Pinball, Street Fighter 2, Ms Pac Man and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Roof East

Roof East is a great space on the rooftop of a shopping centre in Stratford, there are bars, a cinema and of course many games. You can play some of the games for free such as giant Jenga and cornhole to name a couple. There is a car for karaoke and many street food vendors you won't know what to eat first. Roof East will be reopening this spring/summer.

Did you know these London bars will match your first round of drinks up to £100! 😱
